Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC):

As per the guidelines of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC of Gogamukh College was founded on 04/07/2005. Since then it is taking efforts to create a learning environment that fosters all around development of its students so that the college can enhance its contribution to the academic field to keep the flag of excellence flying high atop. The IQAC has established several cells and centres and constituted committees to initiate different academic and governance activities.
Main Objectives of IQAC
1. To develop a system of conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
2. To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
Strategies of IQAC
1. Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
2. Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.
3. The credibility of evaluation procedures.
4. Sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.
5. Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of
structure and services.
Functions of the IQAC
1. Development and application of quality benchmark/ parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
2. Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality related institutional processes.
3. Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
4. Organisation of workshops, seminars and proportion of quality circles.
5. Guiding, coordinating and reviewing the functions and activities of the Cells, Committees, Offices etc. formed for different quality related works.
6. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), Annual Report of Dibrugarh University and other such reports.
7. Verification of records of the Faculty members relating to promotion under CAS.
8. Documentation
